Product Brief
The Grip and Fill – Peg Tray is an extension of our range of toys that help the infant develop the pincer grip. It consists of thickness and colour-graded cylinders which are to be placed in the pits made for them. Two major learnings that this toy provides are the concept of hollow and filled and both colour and thickness gradation. All the six pegs can nest inside the biggest one of the respective colour making the hollow piece become full.
- The ability to hold the pen or a pencil using the index finger and thumb takes good two years to develop and do so the child should be introduced with development tools that help him practice the pincer grip regularly.
- The grip and fill peg tray is one such toy which provides the child a base with designated spaces in which the respective pegs have to be placed.
- The sizes of the pegs have been purposely kept such that the child will work on wideto narrow grips in picking up each one of them.
- The peg placement is does only in the designated space hence it requires logical analysis and problem solving skills.
- It also explains the consent of color gradation and hollow and full.
- Recommended Age: 9-24 months
